Come visit us at our new home in the basement of St. Cyril and Methodius Church (252 E Wood St, Youngstown, OH 44503). Whether coming to serve or be served, our dining hall isn’t just about the food. Our volunteers create a warm, welcoming environment for people who are hungry to come share a meal. With more than 1,500 meals served each week, no one leaves hungry. We provide a hot meal five days a week and breakfast on Saturday mornings.

After you have been added to our annual calendar, you will receive a follow-up call the week of your service at the dining hall.

SVdP Mahoning County Food Pantry

FOOD PANTRY

Located at 317 Via Mount Carmel (Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel) in Youngstown, our all-volunteer Food Pantry provides grocery supplements to more than 30 families every day. A voucher is required to receive food and is supplied by participating area Catholic parishes. Bread is available daily to anyone. The Saint Vincent de Paul Food pantry relies on the kindness and generosity of school and community food drives, businesses, and individuals to help supply the food needed to keep families from going hungry.

SCHOOL SUPPLY DISTRIBUTION

Thanks to donations and volunteers, we are able to help our children get the supplies needed to succeed in this coming school year. Once a year, we are able to distribute supplies to children in need. This past year, we distributed supplies to 400 elementary students and 150 high school students.
